We are looking for candidate with 8-10 years of project management and business analysis experience. The position will require that the candidate perform the duties of a business analyst along with the duties of a project manager. The resource will be responsible for projects from inception through delivery, including managing the testing process. The ideal resource will be self motivated, and be comfortable working in all phases of project delivery.
Position provides project management and business analysis for medium to large sized projects from inception to closure. Position will be responsible for requirements gathering, facilitating design and estimation sessions, reviewing design and estimation documentation with users and developers, preparing process and data models, and conducting test activities. Develops project work plans in MS Project / Excel and tracks ETCs against the plan. Owns the estimate and work plan and manages projects to deliver on-time, on-budget, and in-spec delivery. Lead both the technology conversion as well as the business change required. Consult with project participants, stakeholders and customers to review project deliverables including goals, time frames, and funding. Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Develop and manage project budgets. Indirectly responsible for managing the project teams.
Develops and executes formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Responsible for test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Testing may include application, network, system and user acceptance testing. Expert knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes. Good understanding of the key processes in the business and the business rules that impact the development and/or implementation of information systems.
